Arnt god under press!

 Mandag dukket Arnt opp uten Øyvind. Grunnen var klar: Øyvind hadde havnet på St Olav med pga hjerteproblemer.Arnt taklet presset og sammen med storfiskeren Bjørn Brevik gikk han helt til topps. Så håper vi det går like bra med Øyvind i Trondheim. Vi ønsker ham god bedring og ar vi snart får se ham igjen ved bridgebordet.

Klubbmesterskapet 1.kveld.

 Første kveld i klubbmesterskapet ble unnagjort sist torsdag. Jon Arthur og Bjørn Ivar vant forholdsvis klart, men fra andre til femte plass skilte det kun tre poeng. Det gjenstår to kvelder , og det er de to beste kveldene som teller i sammendraget. Se resultat i menyen på hovedsisden

Per Ove og Karl Johan til topps i kveld. Hallstein og Jan spurtet godt og ble nr 2 for andre gang på rad. 9 Ni bord er meget bra!

Tournament Info

Marit Sveaas International Bridge Tournament aims to be one of the top bridge tournaments in the world and are held annually in Norway. The tournament is sponsored by Christen Sveaas and Kistefos in memory of Mr. Sveaas mother Marit Sveaas. She was one of the leading female bridge players in Norway in the '70 and '80. 

The tournament has a large prize pool every year, and one of our most important goals is that everyone has a chance of winning a large prize. In that way we hope that regular club players can meet and beat world stars in bridge, and even winning a prize in doing so! 

The first editon was held in 2016 in Fredrikstad. In 2017 and 2018 we played in Oslo Opera House in maybe the most beautiful surroundings ever for a bridge tournament. In 2019 the tournament was held at Oslofjord Convention Center. In 2022 and 2023 the tournament was held in the olympic village of Lillehammer at Scandic Lillehammer Hotel. Now we are moving up north and for 2024 it will be held at Scandic Havet Hotel in Bodø.

Festus imponerer.

 Fra første helg i divisjonsspillingen dukket det opp et spill hvor Festus viste gamle gode takter. Jeg sendte inn spillet med litt påfyll til Snorre Aalberg. Han har lagt ut spillet på sin blogg som dere finner på Norsk Bridgeforbund sin hjemmeside. (nederst på hovedsiden til NBF)
